Hello, I’m Derek Ingalls, a licensed REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Elite, proudly serving Fredericksburg, Virginia and the surrounding counties. My wife and I have been married for over 35 years, and together we’ve raised two daughters who are now school teachers, a son currently serving in the Armed Forces, and we are blessed with three wonderful grandsons.

Over the years, my family has experienced moves of our own—from living close to town to stay connected with our children’s activities, to settling on acreage in the country where we could enjoy the outdoors. These personal experiences taught me how meaningful a home can be and how important it is for it to fit each chapter of life.

Outside of real estate, my wife and I enjoy exploring small towns and antiquing. We’re always excited when we come across something that reminds us of our childhoods. I have a particular love for vintage automotive memorabilia from old service stations and dealerships. I’m also a fan of comedy, sports, dogs, and—above all—making my grandsons laugh.

Before real estate, I spent many years in production management. A fellow agent introduced me to the industry, and I was inspired by the fulfillment they found in helping people through one of life’s biggest decisions. That same fulfillment drives me today. Being able to guide clients toward a place where they can build memories and create their story is more than a career—it’s a privilege.
